git log

Git can be pretty verbose when running git log on your terminal which makes getting and overview pretty hard.

The solution

Add the following to your .gitconfig:

[alias]
  l = log --graph --format='%C(yellow)%h%Creset - %s %Cgreen(%cr) %C(blue)%an %Creset'

Running ~git l~ will present the commits, one per line and even visualize merges.
